Ah, It´s you.. The brain behind it :-) Cool, Great app! I mean that after keeping the app open for like 15 minutes I get 1. Apple Script Errror 2. For a while the log said that the status messages were sent properly..But nothing showed up... And opps.. Now I had a script error again...
The reason this is happening is because your PresenceRouter is unable to get your presence from Plazes.com. The error message you're being shown is actually from cURL, which is the command line tool used to communicate with Plazes; in essence the message is saying "couldn't not communicate with Plazes."
There's obviously a more elegant way of handling this ;-)
If you can click on "OK", the error will dismiss and the PresenceRouter will simply try again the next time around (i.e. you don not need to close and restart the application).
I'm working on a more elegant way of handling this ;-)
Upon further plumbing, it seems it wasn't a "cannot contact Plazes" but rather a "cannot contact last.fm" error that was causing this behaviour. I've released a new version (0.95) to try to correct this. Grab it from http://presencerouter.com/download or but auto-update from within the PresenceRouter itself.
Hey, nice and interesting feedback. Now I have the latest version... But I can´t see how it connects with Last-FM... Maybe you have a nice description of that.. ;-)
If you enter your last.fm username in the PresenceRouter preferences, the application will connect with last.fm and grab the last track you played and then you can optionally include that in your presence updates.
